For the past 38 years, Alliance Française de Denver has had the unique privilege to host an Executive Director appointed every three to four years by the French government. This leader has provided us our direct connection to France through his/her unique experiences in culture, the arts, and education. This past year, due to economic and political challenges, the French government decided to end this unique and generous partnership, leaving the AFD to transition from a having a French government-sponsored Executive Director to a fully-funded position at the Alliance Française de Denver. The search for AFD's next Executive Director is underway, see the link below for more details on the position opening.

The world mourns alongside Parisians and the French after Monday's tragic news. Notre-Dame de Paris went up in flames yesterday evening,

grief from community members and French ex-pats. The local news stations visited yesterday to hear our thoughts but there wasn't much we
could add to the conversation of this tragedy. Below are linked our director's comments to Fox31 News and 9News Denver.
